Ronnie Wayne Frost, 67, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Ft. Worth, Texas. Services for Ronnie will be held at 10 a.m., February 10, 2025, at the Cowboy Church of Erath County with Terry Weatherbee and L.D. Whitehead officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Ronnie was born in De Leon, Texas on April 12, 1957, to his parents Tommy Frost and Sherlean (Jackson) Frost. He married his wife Kandice Marie (Nix) Frost on March 8, 1980, in Waco, Texas. Ronnie was in the Alpha Sigma Chi fraternity and played college football for 4 years at McMurry College. He loved hunting, traveling to Ruidoso, and checking on his cows; he was a rancher. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Kandy Frost of Stephenville, Texas; Children, Brittany Magin and husband Matt of Stephenville, Texas, Kyla Whitehead and husband L.D. of Brock, Texas, Maci Frost of Bedford, Texas, Kelci Frost and Ro Sidon of Stephenville, Texas, Dustin Frost of Dublin, Texas; Sister, Gaytha Frost of Voss, Texas; Grandchildren, Kash Magin, Chloe, Adley, Zadey, Wrenly Whitehead, Oliver Cogdill, Sterling Sidon; and several nieces and nephews.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his grandchildren, Memphis and Kreek Magin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kreek Magin Memorial Scholarship; Tarleton State University, Box T-0260, Stephenville, TX 76402.
