Sgt. Steven Watts

Services for Sgt. Steven Watts, 53, a police officer for 25 years with the Stephenville Police Department, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 30, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Stephenville, with Dr. Ken May, and Pastor Ed Dittfurth officiating (the service will be live streamed online at www.fbcstephenville.org and @firstbaptiststephenville Facebook Live.)  A private graveside service will follow the church service at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Stephenville.

Steven was born in Dallas, Texas on September 24, 1967 to Curtis, and Betty (Rochell) Watts. He married Jenny Green on August 8, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Steven proudly served in the U.S. Army as a military police officer stationed at West Point and in Korea.

Steven is survived by his wife, Jenny Watts; children, Hannah and husband, Kyle Roundtree, of Denton, Texas, and Nick Green, of Stephenville, Texas; mother, Betty Watts, of Hewitt, Texas; brother, Jonathan Watts, of Hewitt, Texas; Aunt and Uncle, Mike and Deborah Delillo, of Waco, Texas; cousins, Chris Delillo, and Kevin Delillo and wife, Destiny. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Watts, who was also a police officer.
