Sharon "Sherry" Suggs Obituary

Sharon “Sherry” Ann Suggs went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2024. She was born in Waxahachie, Texas on July 21, 1966, to Billy Gene Patterson and Alva Lou Lackey. Services for Sherry will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday July 19, 2024 at Cowboy Church of Erath County, with Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Heavenly Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Lacy Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Thursday July 18, 2024. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Sherry had a passion for caring for others; she worked as a CNA. Her care extends to her love for animals, especially horses. Sherry enjoyed exploring nature, camping, fishing, as well as gardening, and arrowhead hunting. Sherry was a member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County and of Erath County Humane Society.

            Sherry is survived by her daughter Hannah Elizabeth Suggs and her husband Daniel Demilo of Dublin, Texas; Her husband James Suggs; her brother Marvin Patterson and his wife Sheila Patterson of Dublin, Texas, her sister Debbie Lesley and her husband Roy Lesley of Stephenville, TX, her sister Sandy Brown and her husband Derald Brown of Duffau, Texas, and her brother Wyndell Mark Patterson and his husband Paul San’ Mar of Carrollton, Texas; As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Alva Lou Lackey and Billy Gene Patterson.
