Stanley Richard (Stan) Babkowski, Sr.

Memorial Services for Stanley Richard (Stan) Babkowski, Sr., 73, machinist, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Werth Mayes officiating.

Stan was born in Niagra Falls, New York, on June 16, 1953, to Stanley John and Gertrude Ann (Jones) Babkowski. He married Cheryl (Zagelow) Babkowski on August 20, 1994, in Stephenville, Texas. She preceded him in death on June 25, 2020.

Stan was a member of the Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include children, Marcheta Keen and husband, Brian, of Mead, Washington, Markell Rake and husband, Charles, of Dublin, Texas, and Michael Babkowski and wife, Michelle, of Stephenville, Texas; daughter-in-law, Randi Babkowski of Stephenville, Texas;19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and his favorite niece, Angela Pack. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Babkowski, and his son, Stan Babkowski, Jr.
