Terry Ray Henderson

Terry Ray Henderson passed peacefully, at home, on Thursday, November 19, 2020. There will be a memorial service for Terry on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Harvey Baptist Church in Stephenville TX. with Pastor Svajda officiating.

Terry was born in Houston, Texas on May 17, 1944 to Carl and Anita (Schadell) Henderson. He married Sue Henderson on December 16, 1967.

Terry was a member of Harvey Baptist Church where he assisted with Vacation Bible School and Sunday School classes. He was very creative and enjoyed woodworking, camping, delivering meals on wheels, and grilling. Terry was always helping others with any handyman projects they may have had. He enjoyed cooking for his fellow church members and having coffee with friends. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren that called him papa.

Terry is survived by his children, Terry (Melody) Henderson Jr., Tonya (Michael) Beard, and Anita (Tylor) Chaplin; brother Jerry Henderson; sister Flo Ann (Roy) Bayne; grandchildren Coltin (Shanae) Beard, Shannon Newheart, Dustin (Brooke) Henderson, Alexa Chaplin, and Cate Chaplin; great-grandchildren Sophia, Hunter, Ophelia, Kenley, Jaycee, and Cotyleon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife, Sue Henderson; parents Carl and Anita Henderson; brother Gerry Henderson.
