Tommie Sue Emory, 72, passed away on May 6, 2025, in Stephenville, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Werth Mayes officiating. She will be laid to rest at a later date at East End Cemetery, Stephenville, Texas.
Sue was born in Olney, Texas on July 14, 1952, to her father Thomas Turner Parker and mother Laverne (Boone) Parker. She married Jay E. Emory on January 9, 1972, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Sue spent some time working for Bruner Motors, Furniture Mart and Mrs Baird’s Bakeries where she loved being around people. Sue loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She took pride in making her house a home. She enjoyed tending to her plants, needlepoint, cooking and learning new recipes. She was a Christian and loved the Lord.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Emory, of Stephenville, Texas. Angie Kilgore and husband, Brian, of Stephenville, Texas. Jason Emory of Stephenville, Texas. Grandchildren; Elias Emory, Raegan O’Borski and husband Brady, Rylee Grace and husband Alex, Brooke Sessum and husband Jacob, and Reece Kilgore. Great grandchildren Mara Grace and Blair Grace. Siblings, Bryan Parker and wife Karla of Wichita Falls, Texas, Ricky Parker and wife Debbie of Wichita Falls, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James Parker, her parents, Tom Parker and Laverne Pino, and stepfather, Al Pino.
