Wilfred E. Parent

Wilfred E. Parent, 98, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023, in Stephenville, Texas.

Wilfred was born in Somerset, Wisconsin on April 28, 1925, to Elmer Parent and Olivene Bealargin.  He married Juanita Jones on October 13, 1945, in Los Angeles, California. She preceded him in death on February 8, 1986.

Wilfred was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corps from July 1943 to May 1945. He then made his career in the construction business.

Survivors include his daughter, Janet Pryor and husband, Don; son, Gregory Parent; son, Dale Parent and wife; Jo; sister, Flora Bell Appleby; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; son, Steven; his parents; 4 sisters; and 5 brothers.
