Willa Mae Smith

A graveside service for Willa Mae Smith, 89, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Victor Cemetery with Dr. Ken May officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M.- 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Willa was born in Bloomfield, New Mexico on April 29, 1933, to Burleson and Bessie (Finch) Wood. She married Damon L. Smith in 1951, in Aztec, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 2017.

Willa is survived by her son, Terry Smith and wife Cynthia of Gillette, Wyoming; 2 grandsons, David L. Smith of Glen Rock, Wyoming, and Richard R. Smith of Sheridan, Wyoming; 9 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; brother, Bill Wood and wife Sue Smith of Arkansas, sisters, Betty Jean Farley of New Mexico, and Bonnie Ann of New Mexico; sister and brother-in-law, Nelli Baty and husband Ben of Stephenville, Texas. Willa was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Smith and a sister, Dolene Klohn of New Mexico.
