William “Brit” Robertson
September 19, 1961 – December 17, 2023
William “Brit” Robertson, 62, entered into the golden gates of heaven on December 17, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Werth
Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Wednesday,
December 20, 2023, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Brit was born in Colorado City, Texas, on September 19, 1961, to Thomas Robertson and Helen “Louise” Polnac. He
married Kimberly Addison on August 14, 1982, in Holliday, Texas.
Brit took great pride in his work as a journeyman lineman for over 40 years. He trained countless young men and served as
a mentor in work and life. He cared deeply about people and demonstrated this with his willingness to give anything and
everything to help others. His gratitude was endless. He loved to open his home to friends and family and was always ready
to have fun. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, and working on his corvette. He loved his wife, kids, and grandkids beyond
measure. He talked about his family with great pride to anyone he met. He will be deeply missed but his family has no doubt
that he is safe in the loving arms of Jesus.
Survivors include wife, Kim Robertson of Stephenville, Texas; daughters, Cortney Fanning of Stephenville, Texas, and
Baley Troutman of Stephenville, Texas; four grandchildren, Addison Fanning, Jett Fanning, Jackson Troutman, and Lawton
Troutman; siblings, Thomas Aplin and wife, Suzanne, of Lawton, Oklahoma, Tom Robertson and wife, Sue Ann, of
Stephenville, Texas, Linda Phillips and husband, Mike, of Stephenville, Texas, and Monica Rivera and husband, J.P., of Del
Rio, Texas; niece, Radeanne Rhodes and husband, Adam, of Holliday, Texas; and several other nieces and nephews. He
