Services for Wilma Faye Florio will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Apache, Oklahoma, with Rev. Jon Syverson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service, from time 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Apache, Oklahoma. Wilma passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in Dublin, Texas, at the age of 93. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home of Stephenville, Texas.
Wilma was born in Washita County, Oklahoma, on April 20, 1931, to parents, Lois G. McCullough and Anna B. (Neil) McCullough. She married Peter Florio. He preceded her in death.
Wilma was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She was known for keeping things neat and tidy as she enjoyed cleaning. Wilma also enjoyed gardening and planting beautiful flowers.
Survivors include her children, Sandra Hoyt of Redondo Beach, California, and Karen Hampton of Oceanside, California; grandson, Ryan; three great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces, including niece Martha Collins, her guardian.
