Winnie Evelyn (Prater) Rasberry

A Graveside Service for Winnie Evelyn Rasberry, 88, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 22, 2021, at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M.- 1:00 P.M. Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Winnie was born in Dublin, Texas on March 31, 1933, to Bill and Lora (Humphries) Prater. She married Wilber Lewis Rasberry on February 17, 1950, in Comanche, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2014.

Winnie was previously a member of, First Baptist Church of Stephenville, First Baptist Church of Mansfield, and Greens Creek Baptist Church. She was also a member of Eastern Star, and Cross Timbers Businesswoman’s Group. Some of her favorite hobbies were cooking, reading, and watching college football.

Winnie is survived by her son, Alan Wayne Rasberry and wife Shirley, of Granbury, Texas; grandchildren, Angela Christine (Rasberry) Roberts, and spouse, Krissy Litwiler, Britni Nicole (Rasberry) Kaylor and husband, Jake; great grandchildren, Ella Roberts, Macie Roberts, Jadyn Kaylor, Katlyn Kaylor, Bryn Kaylor, and Pam Rodriguez; 2 great great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Lewis Rasberry; daughter, Linda Sheryl (Rasberry) Ausland; sister, Marcie Parrott and brother-in-law, Tommy; brother, Robert Prater and sister-in-law, Jerry; and brother, Vernon Prater.
