Services for “Woody” Tyler Dean Woody will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Timber Ridge Church with Pastor John Barnes officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home. Woody passed away on April 25, 2024, in Stephenville, Texas, at the age of 32. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Woody was born in Dallas, Texas, on July 22, 1991, to parents, Clifford “Kip” Woody and Trudy (Yocom) Woody.
Woody was an all-around country boy and enjoyed working with his hands building rope. Woody loved being a daddy to his girls, Bella and Abigail. They were the absolute pride and joy of his life. Woody was an outdoorsman and enjoyed spending his spare time hunting and fishing. Woody loved to cook, barbeque, and do food prep. He kept life fun, making many good memories with his family and friends along the way. Woody will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Survivors include his parents, Kip and Trudy Woody of Stephenville, Texas; his daughters, Bella and Abigail; sisters, Taylor Laird and husband, Brendan of Salado, Texas, and Karissa Woody of Stephenville, Texas; paternal grandmother, Jessie Woody of Dublin, Texas; uncle, Curtis Yocom and wife, Mary Anne of Springtown, Texas; his brother from another mother, Justin Pack and wife Alicia; and many others that Woody called his friends.
Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ray and Sue Yocom; and paternal grandfather, Cliff Woody.
