Zelma “Tootsie” (Curtis) Dortch, 98 of Stephenville, Passed away on December 7, 2025, in Glen Rose, Texas. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2025, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 15,2025 at Lacy Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Dittfurth officiating. Burial will follow at the Corinth Cemetery. Arrangements by Lacy Funeral Home.

 She was born on June 4,1927 to the late John F. Eads and Nina (Hope) Eads in Stephenville, Texas. She married Rev. B.Z. Curtis on November 28, 1944 in New Mexico, he preceded her in death on June 13,1998. She then married Kenneth Dortch on June 26, 2004 in Magnolia, Texas and he preceded her in death June 29, 2007. 

Zelma loved cleaning her family home, spending time with her family, playing Chinese checkers and playing the piano.

She is survived by her children: Troy Curtis, Sr. and wife Lucretia of Stephenville, Texas, Myron Curtis and wife Bobbie of Caldwell, Texas, Durwin Curtis of Hill City, Texas, Melissa Aiken and Husband Doug of Granbury, Texas; her grandchildren Troy Curtis, Jr. and wife Holly, Monica Garcia, Brian Curtis, DeAnn Curtis, Shelby Curtis, and Dalton Aiken and wife Brittany. Zelma is survived by 12 great-grandchildren and preceded in death by one great-grandson.
