Stephenville - Services for Kenneth Jones, 75, former director of the Tarleton State University Dick Smith Library, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Valley Grove Baptist Church in Stephenville with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Ken was born in San Diego, California, on May 12, 1941. He married Glenda Lee on January 30, 1965, in California.

He was an active deacon at Valley Grove Baptist Church in Stephenville.

He was also a member of the Rotary Club.

Survivors include his wife Glenda Jones of Stephenville, Texas; daughters Kristin Jones Crews of Hawaii and Katherine Jones of Waxahachie, Texas; several siblings; brothers- and sisters-in-law Durwood Lee and wife Erma of Washington State and Dale Lee and wife Jan of California, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Jones and Anna May Hunter Jones.
