I am so sorry to hear about Irene’s passing. I remember getting a note that she was living at a retirement home. Today I received my Christmas Card back saying deceased. I know she enjoyed all of her animals and remember her naming each and everyone one of the cows on the farm and knowing each one of them. I remember her going to be with Walter and then his passing. Been too many years when they lived in Beaumont and I visited with both Irene and Ida in Ft. Worth and later in Stephenville. I just had wish the distance wasn’t so great for us to travel to visit more frequently. I will leave my email so you can contact me.

A joy to know, a faithful woman of God, a saint who knew she was a sinner forgiven by God in Christ, an example of longsuffering patience and reliance on the Lord, a friend to many, including those with four legs--all thanks and glory to God for such a woman as Irene. We will see her again.

Irene never forgot any of her friends. We were privileged to be considered one of her friends. She is at rest now without pain. We will always remember her and the joy she brought into our lives.

Irene was a beautiful lady, although I only knew her a short time I still wept after learning of her passing. Such a beautiful soul and she will be missed. Carla, if you and your family need anything you have my information. God bless.
